From wages for housework to self-care: feminist perspectives on the care economy
Abstract The article connects the Wages for Housework movement with contemporary self-care, arguing that neoliberal care economies privatize social reproduction and sell individualized responses to structurally produced exhaustion. It revisits feminist demands for collective provision and universal basic services.
